Summer Fruit Crisp – Quick & Easy!
This is the most versatile and ultimate summer dessert. We decided to go with strawberry and apples, but you can really combine any 2 summer fruits! (I would not recommend banana)

Ingredients:
- 2 large apples (honey crisp or gala) – wash, peel and dice
- 12 strawberries – wash, trim, large dice
- ½ cup white sugar
- 3 tbs corn starch
- Fil-O Crumble – Baklava or Pistachio Coconut
Tools:
- Large mixing bowl for all the fruits
- 6 ramekin or square baking dish (oven safe)
- Ice cream scooper
- Baking Tray
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven at 350°F/180°C
- Place washed and cut fruits in bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and cornstarch, mix until combined
- If you are planning to use ramekins – place the ramekins on the baking tray and divide the fruit mix among the bowls. It is okay to overfill.
- If you are planning to use a baking dish – pour the fruit mix into the dish
- Place in the oven for 20 minutes. Take out of the oven, using oven mitts, mix the fruit so it can evenly bake.
- Place back in the oven for 15 minutes or until caramelized and smells amazing.
How to serve:
- Serve warm!
- Place a handful of Fil-O Crumble on each ramekin or dish
- Serve with a scoop of Ice Cream of choice!
- For Make-Ahead Dessert – bake, cool, and store. Slightly warm in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Store in refrigerator, covered, up to 4 days and warm to serve.
