Summer Fruit Crisp – Quick & Easy!

This is the most versatile and ultimate summer dessert. We decided to go with strawberry and apples, but you can really combine any 2 summer fruits! (I would not recommend banana)

  • Large mixing bowl for all the fruits
  • 6 ramekin or square baking dish (oven safe)
  • Ice cream scooper
  • Baking Tray


  1. Pre-heat oven at 350°F/180°C
  2. Place washed and cut fruits in bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and cornstarch, mix until combined
  3. If you are planning to use ramekins – place the ramekins on the baking tray and divide the fruit mix among the bowls. It is okay to overfill.
  4. If you are planning to use a baking dish – pour the fruit mix into the dish
  5. Place in the oven for 20 minutes. Take out of the oven, using oven mitts, mix the fruit so it can evenly bake.
  6. Place back in the oven for 15 minutes or until caramelized and smells amazing.

How to serve:

  1. Serve warm!
  2. Place a handful of Fil-O Crumble on each ramekin or dish
  3. Serve with a scoop of Ice Cream of choice!
  4. For Make-Ahead Dessert – bake, cool, and store. Slightly warm in the oven for 10 minutes.
  5. Store in refrigerator, covered, up to 4 days and warm to serve.
